THIS IS IT... The S O S to the world to see the urgency of the climate crisis and to see people respond to the call to work on changing their lives to change the world. I am hoping for great success from this today, and am so psyched to be making history with my son for whom this will be his first concert. If I and young people thirty years ago had been able to attend an event of this importance then just imagine what we could have accomplished in years past to not see this world at the point it is now.
This is more than just a rock concert, this is the first day of a new dawn for our planet if we but only heed the call. So I am off to do just that, and am looking forward not only to seeing the acts, but getting good information to pass on to others, speaking to others about this, and yes, to finally see Mr. Gore on stage in person!
And on a positive note, my petition (which is in my signature) regarding pledging to be Climate Messengers is continuing to get signatures from all over the world with trees being planted in the heart of Niger! Today I noticed one signature from Najaf, Iraq, and one from Bejing, China. We must reach the world now to solve this crisis, so please if you have not done so already and would like to help plant trees in Niger with
