5) the Odom essay
6) 12 (or is it 14 now?) co-sponsors in the House of DK's Impeach Cheney resolution
7) Live Earth
8) record low numbers for *
9) record high temps in the west; record drought in the southeast, including the unprecedented fires in the swamps of southern Georgia/north Florida

Have I missed anything? Is it critical mass yet?
