Fox & Republicans Are Totally Unbelievable, why would any democrat
ever go on that network?

This morning at the gym, one of the TVs was tuned to Fox. They always have a financial segment on saturday mornings. This morning their little clip at the bottom of the screen was titled as the following:

"Is Wall Street worried about the democrats silence on terrorism" and of course all of their little RWers discuss it and in a nutshell Fox was basically saying all muslims are terrorists. However, the guy called Wayne did try to point out to the idiots that not all muslims are terrorists.

......................Then, Fred Thompson was talking to the Young Republicans in Florida and was going how he was getting tired of having to apologize to the world for America after all the sacrifices we have made for freedom over the years and basically have helped everyone.

..................My opinion on that is that the world does not hate America and I am tired of us having to apologize for the republican policies and George Bush and Dick Cheney, that is who the world is upset about, not America. Also, they better get over the fact that WWII and other legitimate wars were a long time ago and they are not going to get the world to keep bowing down to America. The world has appreciated what we have done but how long do they think all this gratitude and praise is going to be shown on us. There is a new world and a new generation out there but they want to stay in their republican cave of years ago.

1. "... a nutshell Fox was basically saying all muslims are terrorists"
There's a lot of that going around. Here's Mike Lester's latest cartoon, reprinted in our local rag:

No irony. Just the simple association: if you believe in Allah, you ARE a terrorist.

2. Thanks for that. I just think it is irresponsible for a so-called major
network to even put out the slightest hint of something like that.

There was a interesting panel on CNN right after the London incident and I can't spell her name but she is all over the world on CNN, Ann Aporuv or something, you probably know but her and a guy from London were discussing the difference in the muslim situation in europe and the US. The end result of that was that in America, most of the muslims we have here are better educated and wealthier than the majority of the population. In europe, of course due to the geographical situation of england and france, a different group of muslims have immigrated there and the government has done nothing to help them to join the rest of the country and become part of the british population or french population. As a result you have these huge slums that have developed and now you have a lot of unrest and hatred toward the french and british who have just let this fester. They said a totally different situation between europe and the us muslims.

3. Faux is still
beating the terra drum. Gues they didn't notice that the Dems kicked ass in 2006 and a good part of that was due to the fact that people were just sick of the GOP mantra that they are the only ones who can keep us safe.

Total bullshit and IMHO a very un-American was to look at terrorism. Faux really thinks they are helping the Republicans and they get more and more shrill as more and more people peel away from the party line.

4. What in hell is Thompson tired from?
Neither he or any other Puke hasn't apologized for ANYTHING!

Him being tired from doing nothing is typical of his work ethic.

I keep hearing right wing dings, including Tweety-Bird Matthews and other Puke Pundits making similar comaparisons between Thompson and Ronald Reagan, and that certainly doesn't say very much about their hero in my book.

5. The media is the only thing that keeps these people going.
If the media were to turn on * and the repubs they would fold up like a cheap tent. By the media turning I just mean telling the truth.
