Was an Iran-Contra Convict in charge of the failed blockade of the Hamas Government? |
|
It's said that one of the leaders of the operation of the failed plan to get the Palestinians to revolt against the Hamas led government by denying them all aid was Elliott Abrams, a guy who was convicted and then unfortunately pardoned by Bush the Elder.
I think Democrats need to investigate this ASAP.

2. The Wikipedia entry for Elliot Abrams suggests Abrams unfairly convicted in Iran-Contra |
|
and that he was prosecuted for "political differences" rather than crimes.

5. Wikipedia is useless for research on political topics because |
|
of the editing capability, imo. The slant of the material provided is dependent on the last edit as opposed to simply containing the facts.
I do use Wikipedia and value it if I am looking for statistics on various countries ie size, population, etc, because they are facts collected from various other credible sources and put in one place.
The Wikipedia entry re Abrams is merely what the republicans said at the time rather than the facts in the case and that is the flaw in Wikipedia, imo.

I'm glad a Wikipedian fixed that ugly example of vandalism right up because what you say may have appeared on Wikipedia but it isn't there anymore.
Abrams was convicted by a jury of his peers and he deserved to go to jail for his crimes.

Somebody who was convicted is by definition an incompetent criminal. Of course to Bush, the words "incompetent" and "criminal" have no meaning.
