Danish scientist: Global warming is a myth
COPENHAGEN, Denmark, March 15 (UPI) -- A Danish scientist said the idea of a "global temperature" and global warming is more political than scientific.
University of Copenhagen Professor Bjarne Andresen has analyzed the topic in collaboration with Canadian Professors Christopher Essex from the University of Western Ontario and Ross McKitrick of the University of Guelph

Greenhouse effect is a myth, say scientists
By JULIE WHELDON - More by this author »

Research said to prove that greenhouse gases cause climate change has been condemned as a sham by scientists.

A United Nations report earlier this year said humans are very likely to be to blame for global warming and there is "virtually no doubt" it is linked to man's use of fossil fuels.

We may have made history today ~
but we still have a long way to go:banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

1. The Daily Mail = Fox News.
They're not known for a high truth standard.

2. Why listen to scientists?
DNA shows when Greenland was green

The ancient forests covered southern Greenland during a period of increased global temperatures, known as an interglacial period. When temperatures fell again, the area became covered in ice. This ice persisted during the last interglacial period (116,000-130,000 years ago) when the temperature was 5°C warmer than today, contrary to the view currently held by many scientists.

3. Let's see... "has been condemned as a sham by scientists" -
Is my tip-off. Of course "scientists" is the same as "they say" which will always tell you that there is NO validity to what is being said. Don't worry about it. Soon enough there will be changes anyway, in spite of the ignorant.

4. you don't have to be a scientist to figure this out
any person capable of rational thought just has to look around and OBSERVE with an open mind.
(1) All that stuff that gets thrown into the garbage; the emissions from coal plants, planes, our cars; runoff from cities and farms into waterways; declining fisheries. The list goes on and on,.
(2) The photo of Earth taken from the moon. Yeah, it's a finite space.

Connect (1) and (2). Yes, we got a big big PROBLEM, and you don't have to be a PhD scientist with weird instruments and unintelligible code to get it. It's intuitive.

So when I hear scientists say crap like that, I really have to wonder if they're nuts.

5. "Dear Repug:
You were wrong on Iraq. You were wrong about W. You're wrong on health care. You're wrong on climate change. How much would you care to wager that Andresen, Essex, and McKitrick are on oil company payrolls? STFU and don't vote.

Signed,
Concerned World Citizen"

I gave up trying to reason with them long ago.

6. McKitrick screws up yet again
If you do calculations and get degrees and radians mixed up, you get the wrong answer.
