Dave Grohl: "I want to dedicate this one to Al Gore"
And just a minute ago said, "Sing it loud. Sing it for Al Gore!"

Fuckin' Grohl is everything great about rock and roll. The Who, Lennon, Neil Young, et al. Grohl ranks among them (for me) and I just wonder if Cobain knew what Dave had in him.

of Cobain's death. Grohl was going to have songs on the next Nirvana album, which he eventually used on the first Foo Fighters album. If Cobain had lived imagine what an outstanding super-group Nirvana would have been with both Grohl and Cobain contributing songs to each album.

4. I'm sorry to disagree
I don't think second fiddle to Kurt is where Dave truly belonged. I think he's where he's supposed to be...in front. Too much talent. I say that with all due respect too.

8. I suspect a new dynamic would have formed
where Grohl wasn't going to be second fiddle anymore. More like the Lennon/McCartney or Jagger/Richards combos.

7. My two favorite people!!!
I am a HUGE fan of Dave Grohl!!! (And obviously Al Gore)! Dave is hands-down my favorite contemporary rocker.

Thanks for posting this! I'm stuck at work with no way to watch Live Earth :(
