Wouldn't it be perfect if Al Gore walked out and said: "I have no choice.
I have to run. I will run... Thank you for coming...."

I think he could guarantee himself the presidency if he did that.

spending a cent on TV advertising.

10. Totally agree, this great thing he did today
Showed the world and asked America?

ARE YOU AWAKE?

AL Gore doesn't need to play the party line,
he just got more news out on who
he is, and on his character than any biography or paid pundit
or TV commercial ever could.

Bobby Kennedy Jr. rocked BTW:) :hi:

20. I haven't watched any of it yet,
But from what I am reading on DU and other sites, Al Gore and Crew are chewing bubble gum and kicking ass. :D

announcement, if he decides to make that announcement.

I think he will, but I think it would be viewed very poorly if he were to use this non-profit global warming educational world event to announce for President.

I assume if and when he announces he will call a press conference and announce. It will be headlines all over the world. Why stomp on your own message? It would be a disaster. Which is, I guess, why you aren't in politics, am I right?

All that would be said of that is that he organized this for his announcement. Give him time.

11. No. It would be perfect if he said. "I do have a choice.

And I ask for your support in the Democratic primary."

I understand the sentiment, but I don't think Al Gore should be forced to run against his will. I hope he has a change of heart before it's too late, but I don't think he should run unless he really wants it.

12. No, if Al announces it will be at the last minute.
Of course, that`s just my thinking. My hopes and prayers are with Gore. I truelly do not think he wants to run, but I think he is THE only one to bring our country back to what it was.

19. Perhaps you could point out the right location for an "I love Kelly Clarkson" thread? I wanted
to start one, but wasn't sure where to put it...

Seriously, I love that little soul rocker.

14. I HAVE NO DOUBTS ABOUT>GORE RUNNING
I heard Al Gore, talking about the thing he has on T.V. this week, he said some words that tell me that it is going to be a GORE ****EDWARDS ticket.. I am getting on in age, and was just half listing to him when a few words came out of his mouth that sounded like Edwards and I think he intended it to be taken that way. Tie that with the message that Edwards sent to his supporters by the internet on the day of Gore's T.V. thing...leads this old lady to think and with the first hope I have had for a while that it is going to be a Gore and Edwards ticket.
