1. Guess I watched a different webcast

Hillary was a bit stiff, but the others at least attempted to answer the questions. I wasn't impressed with Biden particularly.

I agree about Gore, but I can also see how he might have more power outside the white house than in (which is what he seems to be claiming).

2. He actually doesn't say that when asked directly

When somebody asks him directly "But wouldn't you get a hell of a lot more done as President", he answers (paraphrase not direct quote) that the people need to be behind the issue first.
