Poll: Impeachment talk gains steam after Libby move
http://news.bostonherald.com/politics/view.bg?articleid=1010134

A bad week for President Bush may foreshadow a dismal political season, as the president’s poll numbers plummet, Republicans abandon his Iraq policy and he faces a nascent censure and impeachment movement.

A new survey by the American Research Group found that only 31 percent of respondents approve of the president’s commutation of former White House aide I. Lewis “Scooter” Libby’s prison sentence. The study by the private New Hampshire-based polling company canvassed 1,100 Republicans, Democrats and Independents from July 3-5, finding 64 percent disapproved of the commutation and 5 percent were undecided.

1. Good Grief
Can this actually be gaining a footing, despite all the naysaying?

2. Maybe the Libby pardon
Is finally getting across the point that it's not liberal vs. conservative or D vs. R, it's us vs. them!

3. Impeachment?
Not a chance, there isn't an appetite for it. A year ago is when that needed to get rolling, these asshole's are going to play kill the clock with any investigation you've watched as Fred Fielding just say's no to any document's either Senate or House Judiciary committee subpoena's the Administration with, there's a definite game on. The only way to round a critical mass of voter's up to support another Impeachment is if the Democrat's can pull off the scab to this U.S. Attorney thing, you know somebody from Justice or the Administration just sings their heart out about Gonzales' knowledge or someone from the Executive side. . . You know something, I would trade a bloody nobody wins, kiss your grandmother Impeachment of Dubya for a lengthy prison stint for the "Architect." Bring him back down here to Texas and lock his ass up in Huntsville and let MS13, or 19 or whatever the name of that South of the border gang is. . . If you got an Impeachment in the House I have no idea whether or not the Senate would prosecute him, that is what I mean when talking about Impeachment, let's get a mug shot in a prison uni.

4. Too bad our reps weren't out in front of this where they should have been the whole time.
