My local Rush wannabe's take on the Live Earth concert. |
|
"It was a colossal failure, no big acts played except Madonna."
That's all I heard because I switched to AAR before he could start his next sentence. These RW shills are in massive denial. Their whole world is being pulled out from under their feet.
It's going to be fun watching them wither when Bush is finally gone.

3. It's as if the event was harmful in some way. What would provoke |
|
a reaction like that? The event was all about making people aware of wasting energy & resources, what was the down side? What is the counter argument here? Jesus.

7. They think it was big a commie plot to |
|
go after "industry" or whatever, I know of some John Birch types who still peddle the watermelon theory about saving the Earth.(Green on the outside, Red on the inside) They are afraid that saving the planet will mean they can no longer drive their H2's or those Dodge Rams with the big-ass hemmies, even though some of them couldn't afford to drive or the gas involved.

4. You know, most of the acts are not what I prefer, but... |
|
Edited on Sun Jul-08-07 08:00 PM by Bluzmann57
If I know who they are, they may be well known. Kanye West, Metallica, Foo Fighters, Melissa Etheridge, Alicia Keys, heard of 'em all. As I said, not exactly what I like, but still talented and well known artists who are willing to speak up about a global crisis. My theory? Maybe they prefer staying alive so they want to take care of the only planet we have.

I guess if Ted Nugent wasn't on stage, it would be a failure to a guy like him! http://www.cafepress.com/scarebaby/3263225

10. No offense, but why do we post this crap here? We know they are hellbent on |
|
dumping on Live Earth as much as they can but we (in my opinion) should NEVER bring their drek to sully our nest.
