IF Al Gore runs, he will run as a DEM, not an Independent.
The other night Larry King asked him if he thought an Independent or someone from a third party could win.
Gore thought about it and said MAYBE but it hasn't happened yet.

Al is still a democrat- even after the LOUSY way he was treated by many of his fellow politicians.

That said, Al Gore could run as a Monkee and I would vote for him.

1. As he should BUT
I blame Gore for his breaking loose from Bill Clinton. Which put him at odds with a lot of democrat voters.

Bill Clinton thought it was OK for the President to manipulate a vulnerable young intern into giving him a BJ in the Oval Office and then make misleading statements - basically denying the whole thing - not even admitting the truth to his VP or his wife.

Al Gore does not think the President of the United States should ever engage in this kind of misbehavior.

So if that's what you mean by breaking loose - then I would take Gore's side on that issue.

Let's all find ways to show our support for Al Gore! :patriot:

5. In retrospect I can see clearly why he broke loose from Clinton

And I think he made the right decision for his conscience.

No one should trash him for that.

Keep in mind his FRIEND and colleague Bill Clinton lied to him.
