Granting citizenship to illegal immigrants
The military has legal provisions to allow those, in the USA illegally, to join the military and be granted citizenship.

Why?
And why, during the Immigration Reform Bill debate was this not discussed?

The RW'ers are always so damn quick to jump all over those here illegally by saying, "They don't respect our laws" yet when I confront RW'ers about the military's position it is stunning how many defend it.

Wow.
