"If only Americans would accept jobs for 'reasonable' wages."

Incredible.

4. Yeah If "Reasonable" Pays the Rent And ...
...puts food on the table, buys my kids their shoes and clothes, pays for gas, provides enough for home energy costs, pays for my retirement when I can no longer work for a wage, gives me time off when my family or I am sick, and allows me to even afford to get my sorry ass to work. Unfortunately minimum wage does not do any of that.

Reasonable wages ... what a freakin' idiot.

5. What about corporate employers not being fined for hiring, that BushCo
Edited on Mon Jul-09-07 01:35 AM by GreenTea
refuses to implement, begging immigrants to come into the country and work for less pay...because the corporations want to destroy unions here...If the employers weren't offering the jobs, there would be no reason to come...If the laws were being enforced and fines & charges were strictly being levied, for each offense it would be more profitable to hire American workers...But these are Bush & the republican donors and they look the other way and point their fingers at poor immigrants....

If the employers stopped hiring for cheap labor (simply for more unbelievable profits) the immigration would cease almost immediately. No jobs, no reason to sneak in. It's BushCo and his corporate donors who bitch about union workers...so let's break them....never enough profit for them.

It's the employers who are causing this...and then blaming it as always on the American worker and ultimately the immigrants.

The corporate union busting employers who are never fined by the same republicans, encouraging and hugely profiting from them, paying no benefits...but as always, blame the workers, whom they despise. (Divide & conquer, or at the very least try and confuse the issue and the real truth).

And like the caller, people listen to the media as designed and start pointing the finger at the less fortunate and not the real culprits.....The Employers!
