On Du/rules/cindy/dem candidates - a recipe if I may

[The Straight Story]

With the following ingredients:

3/4 cup part party faithful
1/4 party-less progressives (Ideals mixed with party affiliation)
1/2 pint of discontent
1 gallon of disappointment
2 giant assholes in office
1 war killing thousands upon thousands
3 cups lies/crimes/pure evil

Bake for 7 years at hell like temps


Mix it all up (feel free to add/remove ingredients to your taste) and you get:

A large dish full of people wanting things to change and mashing it all out with anger flaring over how best to make things change to create a better country.

When we dish it all up, we all have a little bit of this or that on our plate, when we all really want to eat the same thing. It tastes different depending on your palette.

DU, and especially GD, sits down together for a meal made out all these things and sometimes we don't always agree on how to fix the dish to make it taste better.

The rules of the kitchen state that we should only cook with certain ingredients, but some chefs want to spice up the dish to add a little more so that the final goal is better.

It's not my kitchen, so if I want to cook up something I think is better then I will cook somewhere else, for now I will eat some bland food I am disappointed in (in some ways).

I won't stop bitching about some of the ingredients I have to work with though :) The ingredients have to earn my loyalty via a lot of taste test, the goal however is unchanging.
