Well, let's make the Supreme Court make their move
Let's let them come up with the reasoning for why the President of the United States is no longer subject to oversight by ONE of the THREE branches of government.

Let's let them solidify themselves as the Fascists they are. Let's make them make it crystal clear to everybody what they are doing.

They don't want to make this move. They don't want to be the entity that plunges a dagger into America's heart.

I say let 'em do it. Let them make our fascist state official, in terms that everyone can understand. Bring 'em on!

1. if they even reach for the dagger,
they will see an uprising they never imagined. The Supremes cannot afford to use it.

2. The Supreme Court has . . .
recessed until October. Nothing will happen on that front until then.

5. This is something that 'sensible' SC members do not want
After the fiasco of the 2000 anti-Constitutional intrusion into the electoral process, the Supremes definitely do NOT want to intrude into the fight for the 'unitary executive' theory espoused by that noted Constitutional scholar, Darth 'Shooter' Cheney :sarcasm:. However, since we all are familiar with the stupidity of the Conservative members of this particular bench, and knowing that the winners tend to re-write history (watch the telco/FTC 'victory' over 'net-neutrality' erase the citizen press instantly), I'm pessimistic that the Supremes will rule the correct, anti-fascist way.

So, how was that democracy experiment, anyway?
