They are on cable constantly. These are the same crazies who got into this brutal invasion and occupation of Iraq. Aren't there any liberal think tanks? Or even moderate ones? Or is it just these same nuts all the time from the right? What gives here?

6. There are only so many Bushbots...
...who can say three-syllable words without drooling and crossing their eyes. So they're a little overworked on the punditry circuit.

helpfully,

7. I don't understand how they can show up in public without wearing
a bag over their heads let alone getting the repeated gigs on TV. How wrong do they have to be before they're recognized for the fools they are?

perhaps it should be investigated for conspiracy to commit war crimes and/or violations of various statutes and/or the U.S. Constitution.

12. I recall reading something about how well-funded the right-wing think tanks were.
They receive a LOT of money from big business and from conservative foundations. Conversely, there was a real shortage of liberal think tanks. I believe that was why Center for American Progress was founded, in an attempt to counteract the plethora of conservative voices out there advocating conservative policies.

13. Another component: Lazy producers
Heck, some people go on vacation during the middle of the summer. But the right wing sinecures and corporate welfare positions are always staffed. And when a show's producer, casting about for someone to book runs out of "ideas," then the producer turns to the trusty rolodex, and pulls a dog-eared index card out of the thing, and call his (or her) old pals at AEI or Heritage to send someone on to parrot right-wing talking points.

It sure beats doing any actual work for that fat paycheck, and besides, the dependable squawkers will always say what these sycophants like to hear.
