Republican Support to Bush's Iraq Policy Collapses
Washington, Jul 9 (Prensa Latina) White House officials fear on Monday that Republican support to US President George W. Bush is decreasing as a result of the controversial topic of the Iraq war.

According to The New York Times, Bush administration's officials consider that the president should take into consideration a withdrawal from the Arab country to maintain the last pillars of the Republican support.

In Washington, the political debate on Iraq heats up around the White House, as the US death toll continues increasing in the Arab country, reported the daily.

Bush and his advisors are not sure if they could wait until September, when a report on the military strategy in Baghdad is planned, to reopen the study on the war in the Middle East.

6. I think that the Repug party hacks are trying to stop impeachment
by getting Bush to redeploy the American forces in Iraq.

This reminds me of when Barry Goldwater told Nixon that he had to resign because he had no more congressional support during Watergate. The problem is that Bush isn't as smart as Nixon and may not heed the advice.

2. It's very sad
With the Baker report and a new congress they had a very good political out last January. Instead of taking the out, they rolled the dice on this "surge" which demonstrated more than anything the fact that the US military really doesn't have much left to surge with.

4. Let's see if they are going to put their votes where their mouths are.

I ain't convinced of anything a Repuke says until I see the vote, especially since our fearless leader Harry Reid is planning to bring up several new Iraq bills.

Publicans are famous for saying one thing, then lying about it and not coming through. I guess we'll see how many votes the GOP will let go.
