Bush Denies Congress Access to Aides ......What Now?
bu$h* tells congress to fuck off
~snip~ For his part, Senator Leahy was dismissive of Mr. Fielding’s letter in a statement released today. “This is more stonewalling from a White House that believes it can unilaterally control the other co-equal branches of government,” Mr. Leahy said in the statement. “What is the White House trying to hide by refusing to turn over evidence it was willing to provide months ago, as long as that information was shared in secret with no opportunity for Congress to pursue the matter further?

4. Start the contempt citation
And do so before the end of the week.

State right now plans to hold Congress in session past the start of vacation if necessary.

The screwdriver is now is Congress's hand.

"These screws were made for tightening. And that's what you should do.
"One of these days these screws are gonna screw Dick Cheney, too!"

(With apologies to Nancy Sinatra)

10. Or that Washington DC is not part of the United States.
Therefore Congress has no control over a rogue district.
Bush; "OK Leahy, name me the two senators from DC."
Leahy: "Mr. pResident, just F*** O**"

13. they'll continue to negotiate with the WH - because doing the same thing over and over again
makes it look like they are doing something real.....

sorry - I just don't really see Congress issuing contempt citations or doing anything more than blustering a little bit, and sternly shaking their fingers in *'s general direction.....

17. I gues Leahy never read Lawrence Walsh's book, "Firewall" about the Iran/Contra crowd
Walsh was the Special Prosecutor and a very conservative Republican. This is the same bunch of criminals pulling their same shit - and everyone acts clueless or that this has never happened before. And, oh, let's not rock the boat because investors might get worried, so we'll just hide all this filthy laundry under this crappy rug over here.

I say - arrest them all and try them before a world court for crimes against humanity - just like we did at Nuremburg. Forget about this impeachment crap. This is no longer just a US issue - it's a world issue - to invade a sovereign nation, especially under false pretenses should not be allowed by any country
