too hard and fired too many personal assistants to have a word I HATE to be slipped
into my copy. Why you sniffering little worm I might as well fire you on the spot."

Scuffling noises

Couric's voice "Get him out of here ... send him back to the overnight shift. I will
not allow such a word as sputum to stink up my broadcasts. Using the term sputum is the cowards
way to right news copy."
