The "group" flew this banner over Live Earth at Giants Stadium, essentially calling Gore a liar. Yet not one of them (if there are more than one of them) is brave enough to list their name or contact informaion of any kind on their curiously empty website. Why draw the attention of millions to your website if it has no content? And how do these COWARDS expect to have a DEBATE if they won't come out of their hidey holes? I'm sure Gore would be happy to debate them on the issue of global warming, if they'd only reveal their NAMES when they issue such a challenge. Hey, Steve Milloy, what are you AFRAID of? If you're going to challenge Al Gore, why don't you DO IT TO HIS FACE?

There is a whole host of them-these so called "consumer advocates" (at least the last time I saw these two together at some CATO or AEI slimefest that was what they called themselves :eyes:) that was what they were calling themselves. There are quite of few them. They write hit pieces for CATO, AEI, Tech Central Station, the Heritage Foundation and various other right wing/libertarian think tanks.

They are always out there "exposing" those eeevil environmentalists, animal activists, labor activists and so on and pwotecting those poow wittle cowpowations :eyes:.

covers the explosion of evidence concerning evolution being found through genetic research. For a long time the cat species had remained a developmental mystery due to the lack of fossil evidence from them. But genetic research is presenting tremendous insight into the evolution of cats.

Mr Milloy could not be more wrong. Evolutionary research is not stagnant. In fact it is exploding.

After finding and reading that thread, I realize that Milloy is not only an undereducated idiot, he's a coward. I guess his name is now so recognized and so very much associated with scientific ignorance that he needs to hide.
