One person cannot save us, though, the right person can get millions of people to stand up and say "Yeah!!!"

The establishment doesn't really like people who get millions of people to stand up and say "yeah!!!"

Having a million or more eyes looking over their shoulders hasn't prompted SOME Dems in congress to do the right, if politically inconvenient, thing.

Nothing we say means a damn thing to George W. Bush and Company.

We can argue and debate the stupidest things between us, yet, when the chips are down, we (mostly) hang together.

Too many Republicans are ninnies.

Being an "attention whore" is fine, as long as certain people agree with what you have to say. The minute you say something they don't like, it's a problem.

There are certain subjects that can't really be debated. Either the different viewpoints are totally incompatable, or emotions run too high for reasonable discussion. Yes, even here.

Some people can tolerate anything but other people that believe in the invisible.

There are certain subjects that can only be answered with a "Hell, yes." Answering any other way can get you in trouble.

Nearly every potential Democratic candidate for the next Presidential election is human, whose made mistakes and (hopefully) managed to learn something from them.

The Republican candidates are pretty much wankers.

A lot of us here are starting to run pretty short of hope.

One person, the RIGHT person, CAN make a difference.

We have a big tent, but some people can only get inside by crawling under the perimeter. :hide:

I can be a royal pain in the ass. But I kinda like that about myself.
