6. A boycott? Well, that means kissing Keith Olberman goodbye, then!!!
A farewell buss on each cheek to Tweety, Timmy The PotatoHead Russert, Saturday Night Live, The Today Show (oh, boo hoo at THAT loss!) and all of the programs broadcast by the "NBC FAMILY" of stations....because they are OWNED by General Electric.

GE....We Bring Good Wars to Life!!!!

You do realize, I trust, that GE is a TOP TEN Pentagon Contractor. And they make much, much, MUCH more money--billions, in fact--from their Defense Industries than they do from their piddling little media outlets.

Those media arms, though, they come in handy to feed pap to the masses...!

9. Their biggest "consumer product" IS their TV enterprise.
The money they make from their appliance franchise is PIDDLING by comparison. And even the money they make from their media entities (NBC, CNBC, MSNBC, BRAVO, Focus Features & Rogue Pictures, Global Networks, iVillage, Universal Television Stations, Telemundo, Universal Parks & Resorts, Universal Pictures, Universal Studios Home Entertainment--DVDs, USA Network, Weather Plus, etc.) is piddling compared to what they make straight from the taxpayer's wallet in terms of Pentagon contracts. See, consumer products are their public face to us lowly consumers, but the big money is in the worldwide governmental, corporate and military transactions they make.

Their big money earners are aircraft engines, for commercial and military applications, electrical distribution (kinda like ENRON), their ENERGY arm (heavy on coal, oil, and gas, and moving into solar and wind--they also are heavy into PLASTICS), consumer and business finance (loans, mainly, mortgages, credit cards, that sort of thing), locomotive engines (they make and maintain a load of the world's choo-choo engines), security systems (not just home alarms--military applications, port security, that kind of stuff--they do the crowd monitoring at the Statue of Liberty, for example) and water treatment facilities around the world.

They really could give a shit if we choose not to buy a refrigerator from them. They won't even FEEL it.
