Gold Foil Theory: Vitter and "phone list" a BushCo warning... |
|
The GOP while W has been in power has been are tight-knit, lock-step bunch.
Enter dissent in the GOP ranks. Enter GOP dirty laundry hung out to dry. Nicely isolating a single GOP Senator for public recrimination.
What other dirty goods are left unspoken.
Hmmmmm........expect to see re-newed GOP solidarity.
It would not surprise me one bit that BushCo has been holding numerous lawmakers hostage with dirty methods.

12. RIght but with DOJ doing BushCo political dirty biz.... |
|
How did the list intially get discovered and then made public? I believe it was entered as evidence. With only a small portion allowed to be made public. Jan22-Aug22 2006 numbers...??
Is there more to come?
The Palfrey Case - 2 year investigation by the IRS. Leads to Federal Indictment, Federal Prosecutors attempted gag her and her list was sealed...But then things started going sour for BushCo as GOP folks started dissenting. It looks bad for Bush so...DING...out a GOP senator, throw one under the bus...not all the way, just enough to send a clear warning. How? Well...by asking Palfrey to release only "certain" phone records and things would go easy for her in the future...like getting that nasty ankle bracelet removed in good faith.
Remember back to the ugly days of the F.B.I. under J. Edgar (Edna) Hoover...it was believed that Hoover kept detailed files on folks in Washington...just in case.

3. If so, this would loosen BushCo's hold on their gonads . . . |
|
Blackmail's a weapon best threatened but not used (sort of like a hydrogen bomb).
Once you start letting the chumps get knocked off, the ones still undercover grow antsy and begin to make deals of their own.
It's a trust thing -- something Schimpanski and Co. are just about out of.

5. You may hav e something there. |
|
I admit I was very surprised at this - I figured to see some lobbyists, a couple mid-level judges, at most a congressman. Completely ruled out finding a senator on the list. If there was anybody with real power there, the list would have been squashed, classified, lost, something, I figured.
But would they use it to enforce order? Very Rovian. It would not surprise me.

7. It works both ways. Even the CIA Director has to submit to having his conversations recorded |
|
I'm sure the NSA has miles and miles of incriminating material on just about everyone of any possible importance in the United States.
If not, a dozen foreign intelligence agencies do. Recall concerns Bill expressed to Monica about their "phone sex" being recorded by the Israeli Embassy.
Give you five for ten, somewhere along the line, someone got the goods on Dick.

8. Vitter was a faithful servant of the administration. |
|
Is there any indication that Vitter ever deviated eeven slightly from his party's lock step stride?
I dont know of any.
Vitter is a horndog, too arrogant to think he'd get caught, or too deep in his compulsion for paid poontang to help himself.

11. Did Vitter speaak out against the WH policies? I can't remember him doing that, but that doesn't |
|
mean it didn't happen. I would think if this was a KKKRove move, he would have outed someone who DID speak out against the administration.
I don't doubt the WH has garbage on every member of Congress though. Those illegal NSA wiretaps had to be for a good reason. What better reason than to get garbage on Congress critters and use it to 'keep them in line.'

Vitter is a lapdog. Making an example of one like him while leaving apostates untouched would only encourage defections from the administration line.

15. Disagree - Blackmail like Terror requires total fear... |
|
And what better way to "Shock and Awe" the party ranks with showing them that no one is safe if you don't play.
No Rove and Bush have a big grip on those dirty bitches in Washington. It really shows how much of a fraud they all are. If Bush goes down...they all falldown hard.
"United We Stand" is not a term of our Nation at war... more a reminder of keeping the GOP party in line...divided they will fall and they will fall really hard.
