On being "China Free"
and the execution of their corrupt drug minister /FDA guy, all I can say is that China understands that anything other than perceived zero tolerance regarding safe manufacturing processes will be fatal to its economic aspirations. But I say "perceived" because the Government all but admits that they are way behind the curve and there will many more problems. See today's Huffington Post article. The execution does not change my mind. I strive to remain China free to the best of my abilities.

2. Can't be China-free
You've probably got computer parts that were manufactured in China. That execution did nothing except make me believe there will never be any whistleblowers in China, we can barely get any and they only lose their jobs here.

Outsourced iPhone. We have to advocate change, it's the only way.

4. Agree
It is nearly impossible but I am making the effort too.
It means less stuff - but that's a good thing!

5. Even if you avoid "Made in China"
you still can't avoid it. If you find something in the grocery store, it can still have some ingredients imported from China and you won't know.
