What, no Peace Forum??

I can't help but notice that there is a forum here for pretty much every issue that's important to Democrats except stopping the war.

Any thoughts on why that is, and does anyone else think that there should be one here?

I did see that group, and it looks like a good group, but all are not free to post there like they are in the "forums."

I'm not sure how much you have to donate to be a member of the groups...

7. When you make a donation

you can then post in the groups and your donation is good for one year. (I'm not sure if there is a minimum, but when I joined DU, I donated just $10) If you do not donate, you can lurk there, you just can't post.

Many "donating members" haven't enough disposable income to pay for their own stars ... so, often based on their postings ('contributions' of the more valued kind), other members have made donations in their name - usually anonymously. (You should see Valentine's Day on DU - especially if your interest is in Peace.)

This is a liberal/progressive community which values it's members on far more than their monetary wherewithal ... even if we can be a bit brutal and argumentative at times.
