6. They have to subpoena him
He also has to get clearance from the DOJ to testify, which may take quite some time.

8. Well, let's hope they subpoena him a.s.a.p.
There are still 559 days for this crooked administration to do harm.

20. Dubya now lying about the budget on both CSPAN3 and CSPAN Radio
CSPAN schedulers may have rules preferring live events to rebroadcsts and Presidential events to House hearings

19. CSPAN is not broadcasting the Conyers hearing live, likely because CSPAN3
and CSPAN Radio both are tied up until mid-afternoon with the Sara Taylor USAttorneygate hearing.

Maybe one of those two CSPAN channels will switch to rebroadcasting the Conyers hearing after the Sara Taylor hearing is over.

Or maybe CSPAN1 or CSPAN2 will rebroadcast after one of the houses of Congress adjourns today.

We may have to wait until the weekend to see it on CSPAN, but I'm pretty sure they'll show it eventually.

Why didn't Conyers and Leahy co-ordinate better on scheduling?

have to wait for the CSPAN rebroadcast

9. Rivkin seems to be a RW tool
Former Reagan, and Poppy, tool, and no friend of Joe Wilson. Not sure what he's doing there. http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2005/10/28/AR2005102801771.html

Roger C. Adams is a Pardon Attorney, appointed by Reno under Clinton. I'll bet he'll testify that he wasn't called about Libby. Here's some of his testimony from 2001 about Clinton's pardons: http://judiciary.senate.gov/oldsite/te021401ra.htm

Douglas Berman is an expert on sentencing law. Here's his blog, Sentencing Law and Policy: http://sentencing.typepad.com/

Tom Cochran was the public defender in the Victor Rita case: http://www.scotusblog.com/movabletype/archives/2007/02/salvaging_the_g.html

Hope this helps. :hi:

12. Is he attempting to get at,...something else, here? I have to assume he is.
I must say, I don't know where our Conyers gets the energy to keep this up BUT I am imagining sending much more energy his way because I want him to keep his accountability hearings going and going and going until these fuckers finally give something up.

13. Remember Marc Rich, pardoned by Big Dawg? At 5am CSPAN3 rebroadcasts
REPUBLICAN hearings from 2001 lambasting Bill Clinton for his Marc Rich pardon.

Ironically, Rich's attorney was--I. Lewis "Scooter" Libby!

Libby himself testifies in the hearing to be rebroadcast from 5am to 8am. Set your PVRs and VCRs!
