The H1-B Visa Program Deprives Americans of Jobs |
|
Microsoft recently announced that it would open an office in Vancouver because America's visa program is too tight ( http://www.informationweek.com/blog/main/archives/2007/07/microsofts_cana.html). Apparently, not enough foreign workers are being imported to depress wages of white collar professionals or to deprive them of work altogether. Here's a video that exposes how businesses exploit the labor importation program. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TCbFEgFajGU&mode=related&search

thinks Kennedy supported the amnesty bill out of a desire to make life easier for the immigrants and a desire to eventually naturalize them, which would've given workers greater political representation. Too bad the bill turned into a slave labor "guest worker", anti-worker scam, which was inevitable.
But it did piss me off big time, and I'm not that fond of him anymore.

8. I've got a BIG heart, BUT it is time the U.S. stopped being the 'savior'....... |
|
for ALL the other corrupt, criminal regimes throughout the world that treat their own citizens like crap. Allowing 4 to 6 million immigrants into this country every year is going to destroy 'US'.

For employers, the word American means, "used to decent pay and won't submit to injustice." They can't have that.
