Are Chertoff's Terra 'Feelings' scarier than Code Red? |
|
CBS Morning Show newsreaders seemed to think they were. We need to count how many times the word 'scary' is used today.
Here's a bumper sticker, Chimpy, We're fighting them over there so they can come back and fight us here? We're fighting em over there and over here? Bring 'em here? Fighting em in Iraq so's we can fight em in Iran? /sarcasm off.

when it was just Tom Ridge and his Technicolor Pants.
Watching Skeletor tell use about his "gut" feeling is a bit too creepy.

...but not for the reasons that CBS wants us to think.
Chertoff's "gut feeling" is a lot more scary because it feels to me just like it felt when they were beating the war drums about Iraq. They start slowly, then it keeps building up, then the unthinkable happens. In this case they are having a meeting tomorrow to assess the threat level this summer (apparently for the first time ever -- does anyone remember a similar announcement in the last 7 years, about a formal meeting to assess the elevated threat level?)...
And as we know, Chertoff is absolutely part of the criminal cabal. One only has to go back to the Katrina debacle to know that he is a criminal just like the majority of this administration. He'll never snitch on them, but -- as demonstrated during Katrina -- he'll have no qualms in what he's willing to do to the rank and file citizens.
Yes, I'd say be afraid. Be very afraid.
And then figure out what we can do about it. Which does not include buying duct tape -- unless used to bind these f*ckers and ship them off to the Hague where they belong.

4. i agree that skeletor may be setting us up but |
|
how can they say they have done such a great job keeping us safe if we DO get hit again? it's a catch 22 for them, i think. i also think that is the only reason we have not been 'hit' yet. i'm sure they would if they could!

Who ever heard of an official talking about gut feelings, more like Rove asked him to throw out some rumors.

7. I don't consider his statements a "feeling". They are a THREAT. |
|
Terrorism, by definition, is doing things that cause people to be afraid.
Chertoff IS a terrorist.
