Official F*ck Larry King, CNN, Sanjay Gupta and Wolf Blitzer thread |
|
This is the email I sent CNN:
I find it appalling that you invite Michael Moore on your network and instead of talking about the very serious subject matter of his documentary, you try to discredit him with Dr Gupta's "fact check" which states that Mr. Moore "fudged the facts". There was no fudging, Dr Gupta and Mr. Moore chose different numbers from different sources, that is not fudging. Mr. Moore spent years researching this, yet Dr. Gupta claims to know more about it? I think Dr. Gupta appeared very biased in the hit job he did on Mr. Moore. And for you network, it was a disservice to the American people because instead of hearing about the important message of the film, you did the right wings dirty work of trying to discredit Mr. Moore. I have lost all respect for Dr. Gupta.

you've got the money, buy a clue, you morons. News is NOT ENTERTAINMENT. It is JOURNALISM, where you strive for the truth, not to push an agenda, you dicks.
Pick up a book and read about the way you became who you are--say "Into the Buzzsaw." Read it and feel shame for what you have become.

4. They are so clueless, Larry King was asking Michael Moore |
|
"what made you so upset about the fact check, I thought it was balanced", balanced my fucking ass. He ended the piece saying "Moore fudged the facts".

well, maybe someday we'll do a show on this very important subject. but right now stay tuned for a story about prison, adultery and a love story.
WHAT?
what an asshole! why didn't he keep moore on for the entire show?
maybe someday we'll do a show on this very important subject unless paris hilton's skirt flies up and she's not wearing underpants.

7. I'm with you! Fuck'em! |

I get the feeling Gupta thinks that all of us living here are fucking idiots! Hey Dr. Gupta, we understand what taxes are and why Michael says universal healthcare is free. Jesus Christ on a cracker, between us and my husband's company, we pay over $15K/year just for fucking HMO premiums for a family of four. That doesn't count deductibles, co-pays, prescriptions, etc. nor does it include our dental and vision that we pay on top of that. I seriously doubt that the gov't would have to charge citizens that much for a universal system.
BTW, love your name, churchofreality.

9. Thanks! I stole it from Bartcop, its one of his sponsors. |
|
I'm surprised that more corporations aren't behind it because it would be an automatic tax break for them. I pay 20% which is 4K a year, My company pays 80%, which is almost 16K a year for a family plan. If we went to a universal plan, companies would benefit immensely from that. Granted, you'd probably have to raise their taxes a bit to compensate for their contributions, but still.

10. I sent an email this morning about letting their newsreaders |
|
voice personal opinion, like Kyra Phillips "if you can stomach it" comment. A few weeks ago one of their male newsreaders got in his personal dig against Michael Moore. They are rushing to faux levels.

11. Michael Moore has been vindicated by recent history |
|
He was prescient about gun violence, the war and now healthcare. Why they want to discredit him blows my mind.

13. threaten these media outlets with email/letter/word of mouth campaigns to their sponsors |
|
the amount of mindshare and ratings governs the premium prices they charge for ad space on their channels.
hit the media where it hurts most.
