By commuting a sentence that had not yet begun..and by claiming that HE thought the punishment was "too severe", I'm betting that in his pea-brain he's already thinking about the opportunity to impose a MORE severe sentence if he deigns a punishment NOT severe enough..
If he can commute one sentence , why not just impose a different one in its place for a few choice "criminals" (i.e. political opponents)
Say he would never get away with it??
Watch him !
