Congratulations to Sarah Gore (and to the father of the bride to be)
HERE'S another reason to think Al Gore won't run for president. His youngest daughter, Sarah, 28, is getting married next month - not in Gore's hometown of Carthage, Tenn., where his base constituency would expect it, but at the Beverly Hills Hotel, stomping ground of the effete elite so detested by red-staters. The groom is Chinese-American businessman Bill Lee, 36, who met Sarah, a medical student at the University of California at San Francisco, in Los Angeles. It's the first trip down the aisle for both.

1. I think you're right Cat. I;ve never believed Al wanted to go through
the nightmare of another election. Truthfully, I question why ANYONE would want to take over after the Shrub! He's made such a damn mess of EVERYTHING I sure wouldn't want to have to tackle it!

2. Where his adult daughter chooses to get married
should have no bearing whatever on Gore's future plans. As I recall, Reagan's daughter was married at a posh hotel, too, and I don't recall anyone holding it against him.

4. I agree....
she goes to school in Los Angeles, so obviously lives there. I hardly think they would plan a wedding around her father running or not. What a smarmy statement that reporter made.

5. That was pretty snarky, wasn't it? The implication
being that unless his daughter has a wedding at home in the garden, her father is too "elitist" to be President. What a load of crap.

If one of Chimp's offspring got married at an exclusive resort, that same reporter would be using words like "elegant," "befitting the daughter of a President," blah, blah, blah. Such hypocrites.
