There's a hearing tomorrow on wether to issue a subpoena to the RNC!
http://judiciary.house.gov/schedule.aspx

It's being held by the Sub committee on Commercial & Administrative Law. They're looking for info regarding the US Attorney firings. I don't know who chairs this sub committee but you can view it live via the link above at 1:00 PM EST tomorrow.

I wonder who would appear if the subpoena was issued to the Republican National Committee?

1. Old slick as an eel in a bucket of snot Mehlman, maybe
although it would be good to get all their movers and shakers out into the bright lights at least once, show the suckers who is making all the decisions for them.

3. Yea I know, but I wonder if they would just choose someone else?
I'm guessing they want to gain access to all those emails that were sent via the RNC servers from the WH, and I don't think old Mel would be good at doing anything but a Gonzo "I don't know" routine!

6. GREAT! I like Linda. She's a tough Representative who doesn't
take any BS! The only thing I don't know is how persuasive she is. Can she swing enough committee members to actually issue the subpoeans?

8. this is getting to be kinda stupid
they issue subpoenas, republics either show up and refuse to answer questions, show up and lie, or refuse to show up, or refuse to turn over documents.

Subpoena power has no teeth unless you make an example of a person who disobeys one. Right now, subpoenas are meaningless, they are issued right and left, and they are a joke. Time to take laughter off the table.
