He didn't say he was ascared of Usama Bin Laden, or of crazed Muslim fundamentalists attacking us...just terror.
He's been on the inside. He knows that when BushCo is in big trouble -- and their trouble has never been bigger -- they do crazy rat-in-the-corner things. That's what his gut feeling is...acknowledgment of how low this band of thugs and murders will go.
