Tucker is the worst I've ever seen him. He said "John Edwards has more |
|
money than many countries." I think he has been told by MSNBC to spout right wing BS twice as loud now because Keith O has been so vocal lately. Tucker, exactly which countries does John Edwards have more money than? What an ass.

2. I think you're right and I think he's had a talking to because his numbers |
|
are not good. Instead of backing off and being more centrist, he's just shooting his mouth off and really turning people away. He is a disgusting little shite, I can't stand him.... I also think the only reason he has the job, again, daddy got it for him..

4. I don't think we're going to have to deal with Tucker much longer. |
|
MSNBC doesn't hang onto people with bad numbers, and Tucker has been given more than his share of chances. I have no inside info, just my own "gut" feeling. I think he's gonna be a gonner soon!

3. sadly enough my mother, a new york times reading liberal, bought the haircut |

story. She took me to washington to protest the vietnam war, so she is a good soul. I was shocked to find out she had bought the edwards/money stories. I just assumed it was the kind of garbage noone would listen to. She hasn't yet picked a candidate, and we have plenty of time to talk during the coming months, but I was shocked and saddened to see how widespread the myth is.

and I highly doubt it, unless he was talking about governments. Edwards might be worth as much as $80 million which would be a country of 80,000 with per capita income of $1,000.
Anyway, he doesn't necessarily have any more money than Hillary or Giuliani, and he certainly does not have as much as Romney.

7. So what? Mitt Romney has more money than some CONTINENTS |
|
So the amount of money you personally have is inversely proportional to how good you'll be?
By that measure, FDR should have been the worst president.

So republicans think that rich democrats such as John Edwards must give away all their money before Republicans consider their effort to help the poor to be "sincere"?
What is truly insincere: a "tough love" Republican claiming to be Christians, while opposing any program to help the poor.

14. Somehow, he annoys me more than the crazier wingnuts. Smart-ass rich kid... |

bow-tied, just annoying as hell! And I'm not the hate-the-rich kind, believe me. What really gets me is the rich who don't give a damn about those who haven't been so lucky.
The poverty discussion re. Edwards today, for example. The poll finding that the poor don't support Edwards. I'll say it -- unfortunately, many of the poor in this country are poor and also black. And both Obama and Hillary have a lot of support from that community, for varying reasons. Edwards, not so much. But Tucker had to take that poll and just hammer Edwards with it. Edwards, Tucker's ultimate annoyance -- a rich guy, who wasn't born rich, and who makes a point of caring for those less fortunate. That's something Tucker can't imagine, so for him, Edwards' sincerity has to be false.
I really find it hard to have Tucker on my TV, especially with the volume on.
ON EDIT: Just noticed a reference to Tucker's haircut upthread. Tucker, that bouffant would get you laughed out of the Harvard or Yale Club. Trust me.
