3. Mucho.
Criticism of some dems always evokes the DU rules threads (especially if the person whose actions one supports is no longer a registered dem).

Probably about the same number.

11. Everyday until Nov. 2008.
Everyday a thread is locked or a post is deleted, it serves as a reminder that the rules are being enforced and therefore, DU'ers are being reminded of DU rules.

16. Don't think he's talking about Mods
They have every right to tell DU'ers what rules they are breaking.

I'm just sick and tired of wannabe Mods starting threads about the rules every time a controversial issue comes up. I think we have enough mods that we don't need these armchair mods trying to act like net nanny.

19. Avoiding the "Topic Chetto"
Some posts stay unlocked unmoved more than others. CoOnsitency is ideal but probably unachievable on a site like GD.

Specialty boards for flammable subjects have not worked very well because I think most people on either side of a "hot button" issue tend to rebel (gee imagine rebellion on s site like this????) against both authoritarian and sending folks to a "Topic Chetto"
