Study: Women are in charge at home
Men might throw their weight around at the office, but at home, women are the bosses.

A study, which was just released, finds that wives have more power than their husbands in making decisions and dominating discussions.

"The study at least suggests that the marriage is a place where women can exert some power," said lead author David Vogel, a psychologist at Iowa State University (ISU). "Whether or not it's because of changing societal roles, we don't know.”

9. That's like every few years, they announce
the results of a study that concludes that binge drinking is common on college campuses.

7. Big surprise
My wife runs the house, along with working a full time job, taking the kids to basketball, soccer practices and games.

I work 60-70 hours a week, at night, and she simply is an amazing person to be able to juggle all this stuff.

I love her, and the things she does for our family...Thanks Kathy.

10. In my family, marriages seem to be very one-sided, meaning that
one person is very much in control and makes all the major decisions. Sometimes it's the husband, sometimes it's the wife.

Only one marriage I can think of in my family where it was fairly equal was my late mother and stepfather.

Is it any wonder I'm not married? :-)

11. This is NEWS? This has been a well-known fact since the fucking dawn of time.
The powerful family matriarch that one doesn't DARE mess with seems to be one of those archetypal things found in most human societies.
