Is This New Uptick in Terrorist fear techniques just a good way to
change the focus in Iraq back to fighting al Quaeda?

Heightening the fear about al Quaeda. Then claim that they are the biggest threat to US security. Then redeploy troops to cover the danger to this country.

That way the adm. doesn't have to admit defeat when they change strategies.

1. Is the Director of Fatherland Security's "gut feeling" about an attack really LIHOP or MIHOP?

8. If either, I don't think CIA and Pentagon will sit on their hands beforehand or stay quiet after
they will either throw a monkey wrench in the works or expose it.

2. Who knows? It might even be real.
The problem is, we wouldn't know whether to believe them unless something happened. And if there is a real threat this time, BushCo has spent so much of its energy learning to spin everything for their gain that they haven't learned anything about how to defend against or respond to a genuine terror threat. They'd have to trot out all the "No one could have imagined X would happen" excuses again.

3. At the very least, when nothing happens, they'll claim we were saved by Bush's unerring vigilance.

4. Might be the intention but methinks they've beat that drum once too many times.
Junior's approval at Rasmussen is 33%, which is as low as they have ever reported, and his RCP Average is 30.2%, which I believe is the lowest it's ever been. Perhaps even more importantly, Republican members of Congress are turning against him left and right, for fear of losing their bids for reelection in 2008. It's not surprising at all that they would crank up the threat level yet again, but the tactic is now too trite to fool anyone.

5. they are not withdrawing from Iraq
I think this is just their standard answer for low approval and some issues (Libby pardon, justice firings) that they don't want covered.

6. They're just getting you ready for our Invasion of Iran.
And Democrats like Carl Levin seem to be ready to pull that trigger.

7. Most likely this round of fear tactics
is just to get everything geared up for the next False Flag attack this administration is going to pull on the country.

They are going down and they know it, even the MSM cant stop the bleeding with all their blatant lies & cover ups so they are going to do what they know will work (again) because the majority of the American people are just as ignorant as a stick and will fall for it.

Maybe a small Nuke probably in San Fransisco and blamed on Iran or more correctly blamed on AlQaeda but they got the Nuke from Iran and off to war we go again based entirely on lies and the war criminals poll numbers go up and Billy Bob & Betty Joe Nutbag start waving their damn flag again.

I'm embarrassed to admit being American anymore. The sheer stupidity of the average American is unbelievable.

There is not one shred of verifiable evidence that shows that Bin Laden/Alqaeda had anything at all to do with 9/11 yet we keep hearing it on the MSM daily and the average ignorant American believes it without question.
In fact ALL the evidence shows that it was indeed this administration/PNAC/Neofascist wing nuts that planned and executed the attack.

Justice will never be served to these lunatics unless We the People do it.
