Time to put this RW bullshit away. Vitter and Allen are NOT about sex.
Every wingnut talking head in existence is whining today about how the nasty Dems are picking on these poor men regarding their sex lives. (Never mind the Clinton frenzy, that apparently never happened.) But here's the difference. Even if you ignore the abject hypocrisy of people who make their living bleating about the need for "abstinence", "Defense of Marriage", and "family values" while out trolling for a litle on the side, the bottom line is this: Bill Clinton broke no law. Consensual sex between adults is not illegal. However, soliciting for the purpose of prostitution IS a crime. These god-fearing, Republican family men are, by law, FUCKING CRIMINALS. So blow me, boys (Rep. Allen, that'll cost you $20.)

14. Rep. Robert "Bobs for dick" Allen cosponsored public lewdness bill
"Florida Rep. Robert Allen, who is out on bond after being arrested for soliciting an undercover officer for a sexual act, cosponsored a public lewdness bill filed back in January.
...

The Clerk’s office for the Florida House of Representatives confirmed to News 13 that Rep. Bob Allen was a cosponsor of a bill increasing penalties for public “Lewdness and Indecent Exposure.”

According to legislative documents, the bill would have made it second degree felonies for public exposure and “unnatural and lascivious” acts with another person within 1,000 feet of public parks, as well as other public locations such as schools, child care centers, public beaches and community centers. It also would have made it easier for police to arrest someone for these crimes.
... "

This is like a redux of Mark Foley's hypocrisy.

4. Jesus's harshest condemnation was of
hypocrites especially hypocrites hiding behind the mask of moral leaders.

12. Anybody have a quote on this?
All I remember is something about wolves in sheep's clothing, and I'm not even sure that's biblical.

Chapter & Verse?

13. Some quotes by Jesus on hypocrites
"Well did Isaiah prophesy of you hypocrites, as it is written: ‘This people honors Me with their lips, but their heart is far from Me.’"
Mark 7: 6

"Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you devour widows’ houses, and for a pretense, make long prayers. Therefore you will receive greater condemnation."
"Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you travel land and sea to win one proselyte, and when he is won, you make him twice as much a son of hell as yourselves."
Matthew 23: 14-15

http://www.commondreams.org/views05/0922-21.htm

"He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her."
John 8: 7

"Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly are ravening wolves."
Matthew 7: 15

ravening:
rapacious; voracious
to raven:
. To consume greedily; devour.
. To seek or seize as prey or plunder.
. To eat ravenously.
http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/ravening

"And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward."
Matthew 6: 5

The word hypocrite comes from a greek word meaning a stage actor:

Origin: 1175–1225; ME ipocrite < OF < LL hypocrita < Gk hypokrites a stage actor, hence one who pretends to be what he is not, equiv. to hypokri(nesthai) (see hypocrisy) + -tés agent suffix]

The GOP pols seem incapable of spending any money for a moral or legal purpose. It boggles the mind that anyone would be associated with them.

9. Agreed. Been staying out of this because I really don't care what
someone does, what fetishes or fantasies they have so long as all people involved are consenting adults. But breaking the law is breaking the law. If you don't want to get caught propositioning someone illegally, either don't do it or change the law. You break the law and get caught, there are consequences. unless mrbush says otherwise.

17. And repubs are always the strongest proponents of "legislating morality".
Apparently, they need "morality" written into law
because they don't have any of their own.
