Sam Farr signs on to Cheney impeachment bill

Central Coast Rep. Sam Farr has joined a small group of House Democrats seeking the impeachment of Vice President Dick Cheney over the origins of the Iraq war.

Farr, D-Carmel, quietly this week joined 11 other co-sponsors of a resolution introduced in late April by Rep. Dennis Kucinich, D-Ohio, that lays out two articles of impeachment against Cheney.

He's my Rep, and I love this guy. Born on the 4th of July. I walked with him in the little local parade a few years back. He's done SO much good for this area locally, but never forgets to address the larger issues facing the whole nation. He's a fine fine example of a Democrat.

We spend a lot of time on DU bashing our more, uh, careful Dems, but this is a Democrat who is doing something right.

He hasn't ever had to fight to keep his seat, he's beloved here in this liberal bastion, but he's made the most of it.
