So let me get this straight, so to speak |
|
Edited on Thu Jul-12-07 07:14 PM by dsc
My private life should be the fodder of Constitutional Amendments, should hold me liable for arrest, get me fired from my job, prevent me from serving in the armed forces, and keep me out of the boy scouts, the Salvation Army, and a host of other organizations that should still get federal funds; all of this despite the fact that I have no power over anyone short of a student or two. But Vitter's private life should be private. It shouldn't cost him his job, it shouldn't put him in jail, it shouldn't be fodder for talk shows, and it sure shouldn't end his marriage. Do I have this correct?

Oh, and stop talking about it too, it's very hurtful for you to keep bringing it up.

there are lots of things Vitter can be accused of, not being interesting I don't think is one. I for one, think there is a movie here, maybe even two, one normal and one very wierd porno.

8. Vitter's private life would have to be a horror flick. Lots of gross-out scenes. |
|
Straight to DVD in my opinion. :)

Democrats on the other hand are restricted to doing what the republicans say they should do.

18. Yes dsc, as fucked up |
|
as it is, you are correct at least from the minds of those that have no problem with the hypocrisy.
This is what happens when the repukes spend so much time trying to legislate morality. I am sick to the teeth of the moralists that want to tell people who they can sleep with, love or marry all the while choosing to live their lives in any matter they see fit.
Why the right-wing can't or won't understand that it is NOT about the sex IT IS ABOUT THE HYPOCRISY is beyond reason.
In fact, I don't care what the hell turns Vitter on regarding his sexual preferences but when they open their mouths to spout off what is moral in their little warped worldview is when I come unglued and call em like I see em.
