Have I mentioned my Chaney "Mirror Story" lately?

(It's late, and this really isn't a Lounge post.)

I did a job a few months ago at a prestigious hotel. It's a hotel that our VP is known to stay at in the city where the hotel is.

I was moving some equipment in when the hotel worker (a nice, young, impeccably dressed woman) was showing me through the warrens of the service corridors. She told me that this was they way they brought Chaney through.

She continued, that they had to do all kinds of stuff, not only get SS clearances and all that but the staff had to hang a mirror over the bed in the suite he occupied. It was SOP. Chaney's staying there, hang the mirror.

At some point I was wondering if they just left the hooks in the ceiling so that it would be easier to put the mirror up and down.

There is no point here, I just thought you late-nighters might enjoy my little story.

1. Odd request

I'm surprised you don't have to put up a meat hook and some shackles as well.

2. I thougt it was an odd request. I like a "smoking room".

Some rock stars like certain kinds of fruit, candies, bottled water, etc.

Chaney wants, no requires, a mirror hung over the bed.

I bet this hooker scandal got his paws all over it.

If I had complete immunity I would leave a hotel room like that! flooded, destroyed, drugs everywhere, animals just the works. But a mirror and fauxnews on I guess thats kind of trashy.

6. Actually, no I haven't seen it. (And I don't know why, I should.)

This isn't some sleezy casino hotel in Vegas.

This is a very well-known 5 out of 5 star hotel.

I'm sure the staff does not leave any evidence around when the "Shooter" leaves. Like you said, who knows what deritis is staining the sheets?

But, I still find it bizarre they have standing orders to hang "that" mirror when the call comes.

7. With the miracle of modern chemistry....

And perhaps still "up". Although, with his heart, too many Viagra/Cialais drugs, the old ticker might stop when one doesn't want it to.

I'm guessing the mirror means you can see both sides of the vixen you hired to raise the dead. Just my guess.
