6. I remember a story from about 1990 or 1991

Some ancient Congresscritter was gonna filibuster some bill and speak for many hours, and the talking head on tv said he was gonna wear an adult diaper.

My kid was walking by, age four or five, and said "Adult Diaper?".

4. I have been searching around the web trying to find out where Senator

Vitter is.

There's this very odd gap in the reporting. His home is in the New Orleans area and of course he has a place in Washington. I can't find a specific current reference to his whereabouts.

Why haven't reporters contacted his offices in DC and in Louisiana? Why haven't reporters used their staff contacts in the Senate to ask Landriue's people where Vitter is?

I am amazed at how suddenly dark the trail becomes on Vitter's whereabouts.
