After Vitter, DeMint worried he could ‘be next.’

Sen. Jim DeMint (R-SC) is not surprised by revelations that Sen. David Vitter (R-LA) “patronized brothels and call girls.” In an interview with Capitol News Connection radio service, DeMint said, “I think all of us have to look at it and say, ‘We can be next. … This can be a very lonely and isolating place.’ I’m fairly surprised at how little it does happen.”

1. Bastard

He seems to be saying that the life of a Congressperson is so lonely that
visiting prostitutes to be expected. Just a way to ward off lonliness.

These fucking hypocrits.

If it was a Dem who was caught first in this the self righteous screaming would
have been heard from coast to coast.

Bastards.

2. I have no idea if Jim DeMint frequents escort services, but
were he to be implicated and eventually have to resign, no one at my house would be the least bit saddened.

Between DeMint and Vitter, they couldn't bake a dozen cookies on a flat tin sheet.

3. I remember having read somewhere that, in 1994, when the new Republicans arrived in Congress,
a number of them got divorced in the first year, because they started having affairs all around.

They invoked the same excuse: "our wives are not here", to justify that.

4. prostitution np. Vitter's hypocrisy, big problem
I don't give a fig if someone frequents a prostitute or escort.
Personally prostitution & drug laws should be trashed as arbitrary, parentry government.

But the stench of the hypocrisy in Vitter's case is just obscene.

He was out front calling for Clinton's impeachment for his sexual liaisons with an of-age intern.
While he was receiving call-back checks from the DC Madam, because he was requesting 'services'.

The congress spent 2 million dollars during the Bush I whitehouse to cover up the Franklin Child Abuse scandal.
In fact FBI agents even intimidated the young victims from testifying.
Completely rotten.
