WE WANT ALL PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATES AT THE DEBATES (snark) |
|
Edited on Fri Jul-13-07 11:50 AM by jsamuel
including:
Laura Davis-Aaron (Tennesse) Michael Forrester Michael K. Forrester (Colorado) Dan Francis Danny M. "Dan" Francis (New York) Alfonzo Jones (California) John Joseph Kennedy John Joseph Kennedy (Georgia) Karl Krueger Karl E. Krueger (South Dakota) Sal Mohamed Sal Mohamed (Iowa) Jim Prattas James J. "Jim" Prattas (Hawaii) Ole Savior Oloveuse O. "Ole" Savior (Minnesota)
Right?
(End :sarcasm: )
I think some of the outrage is feigned. Some are upset because they are concerned that their candidate might get kicked out.
I can understand being upset about that.
Some are upset at every candidate not having the same opportunities.
But these people ignore that there are more Democrats running for president than the 8 on stage. No one has been outraged that they aren't allowed on stage.
However, I just don't see how Gravel should be allowed up there come Fall. Gravel gets up there and just bashes the whole stage. He isn't even campaigning, just showing up for debates. His campaign ad consists of him staring into the camera and throwing a rock into a pond.
On a side note, that Fox News attack on Obama for using a notepad is baseless and stupid. Notes are constantly used for all kinds of purposes, including keeping track of who said what and making sure all points are covered.

3. I think they all should be able to get their message out |
|
I have no problem with it. I also think each debate should focus on one or two topics and that there should be more of them.

4. Iet all candidates participate. Gravel gets to say things other candidates do not |
|
even try. Sure, he does not stand a chance, but this is the only way what he has to say will pass, and he is the only one who articulates things that do not try to comply to political correctness.
(Sure, DK has a progressive plateform, but there are things that need to be said and that no other candidate will say, particularly about foreign policy.

9. Well, I don't know. Some of them have none, some have an initial, and some have a nickname. |
