US military jet doing low flybyes over Detroit

Just got buzzed 3 times by a low flying military jet here in Detroit. Anyone know of any activities going on that would account for this? Sucker was low and loud.

I'd say it was because the Tigers won the World Series. But it's a little early for that.

Only airshow scheduled this month is the big balloon thing up in Jackson and the regular weekend shows. Nothing scheduled for today that I can find.

3. One of our pilots buzzed a drive-in. Became an ex-pilot for doing so.

He was one of those "top gun", square jawed, types. He was also my boss at the time and was removed from his post as "Intelligence Officer". A perfect little asskissing, gung-ho, starched dungarees martinet.

8. I saw a flight of four A-10's over Mt. Airy in Philly recently.

Of course we have a Naval Air Station fairly close and I assume some kind of training was ongoing.
