Latest meme, being broadcast now...Al Qaida is FRANCHISE. |
|
Edited on Fri Jul-13-07 01:02 PM by Atman
Yup. AQ, is now considered a "franchise operation" according to the generals giving a press conference which was cut short by CNN. You know, plunk down your franchise fee and go through your credit check and you too can own a growing, profitable Al Qaida franchise.
We supply all the training manuals. You pay for uniforms and agree to buy your supplies from the home office. The potential is unlimited! Get on board this explosive (sorry!) growth opportunity while terrorists...er, territories...are still available!

6. The Chimpenfuhrer did say that they were his constituents |
|
----------------------------------------------------------------------
"there's a lot of constituencies in this fight -- clearly the American people, who are paying for this, is the major constituency. ...
A second constituency is the military. ...
A third constituency that matters to me a lot is military families. ...
Another constituency group that is important for me to talk to is the Iraqis. ...
And, finally, another constituency is the enemy, who are wondering whether or not America has got the resolve and the determination to stay after them." -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Maybe he meant franchisee

7. Hell, I wrote that here months ago. |

Hell, I wrote that here months ago. My claim at the time was that "Al Qaeda isn't a terrorist organization, it's a Brand".
And I alleged exactly what is now being alleged, that every pissant with a pipe bomb would now be branding themselves as, e.g., "Al Qaeda in Muncie".

11. well I think that is probably more accurate than what they previously said -- That AQ was |
|
superorganized all encompassing all knowing all powerful.
It seems to me that there are probably some little itty bitty groups who say "We're AQ" cuz it sounds so bad ass.
And then of course Bush Admin and Faux News laps it up -- "See AQ is EVERYWHERE!!!!!!!"

16. Heard the same thing yesterday on some NPR program. |
|
Apparently all you have to do is take some kind of oath of allegiance to UBL & you get all the rights & privileges.
Thus the banter of "Al Qaida in Iraq"
