4. And do what with him
There is no criminal warrant for his arrest for 9/11 - will they just try him for the embassy and Cole bombing indictment they have against him?

This admin and Rudy screwed up the evidence, the crime scene. They don't haven't asked a grand jury to consider what evidence they have against OBL, they haven't sought an indictment, what will the senate do with him?

They can't make members of this admin comply with subpoenas, what the fuck are they going to do with OBL?

:argh: And yes, I am sick to death of empty fucking gestures for show.

In the mountains by Pakistan and Afghanistan...the snow was too deep or something equally as stupid.

On edit: He walked out of the Tora Bora mountains:

...

An exodus begins

Meanwhile, in the weeks following bin Laden's arrival at the Tora Bora caves, morale slipped under the constant air assault. One group of Yemeni fighters, squirreled away in a cave they had been assigned to by the Al Qaeda chief, had not seen bin Laden since entering on Nov. 13.

But they say bin Laden joined them on Nov. 26, the 11th day of Ramadan, a warm glass of green tea in his hand. Instead of inspiring the elite fighters, he was now reduced, they say, to repeating the same "holy war" diatribe.

Around him that day sat three of his most loyal fighters, including Abu Baker, a square-faced man with a rough-hewn scruff on his chin." said, 'hold your positions firm and be ready for martyrdom,' " Baker told Afghan intelligence officers when he was captured in mid-December. "He said, 'I'll be visiting you again, very soon.' " Then, as quickly as he had come, Baker says, bin Laden vanished into the pine forests.

Between two and four days later, somewhere between Nov. 28 to Nov. 30 - according to detailed interviews with Arabs and Afghans in eastern Afghanistan afterward - the world's most-wanted man escaped the world's most-powerful military machine, walking - with four of his loyalists - in the direction of Pakistan.

No one will ever convince me he wasn't allowed to escape.

11. I firmly believe bin laden is dead
dead and buried secretly somewhere, there hasn't been a confirmed communique from him in years. Number two man has been doing the talking, osama makes a great boogey man, if you can keep the fear alive you can control the populace, it's to their advantage to have him alive and just beyond the horizon where he can pop up and kill again.

17. Translation of funeral article in Egyptian newspaper
Translation of Funeral Article in Egyptian Paper:
al-Wafd, Wednesday, December 26, 2001 Vol 15 No 4633

News of Bin Laden's Death
and Funeral 10 days ago

Islamabad -
A prominent official in the Afghan Taleban movement announced yesterday the death of Osama bin Laden, the chief of al-Qa'da organization, stating that binLaden suffered serious complications in the lungs and died a natural and quiet death. The official, who asked to remain anonymous, stated to The Observer of Pakistan that he had himself attended the funeral of bin Laden and saw his face prior to burial in Tora Bora 10 days ago. He mentioned that 30 of al-Qa'da fighters attended the burial as well as members of his family and some friends from the Taleban. In the farewell ceremony to his final rest guns were fired in the air. The official stated that it is difficult to pinpoint the burial location of bin Laden because according to the Wahhabi tradition no mark is left by the grave. He stressed that it is unlikely that the American forces would ever uncover any traces of bin Laden.

I can't read Arabic, so I have to take their word for the translation. Also, it's from an anonymous official. However, since we haven't had a video of OBL since this date, I think he's dead too.

16. Whoop-dee-fucking-doo. Bin Laden (if he's alive, which I doubt) must be quaking in his turban.
Of course, if he's alive, he knows damn well he's perfectly safe. He's ONE CIA asset who will NEVER be outed.
