I mean, reading animal entrails IS an ancient oracle traditition.

9. Thanks for the welcome Laylah!
This one probably should be ignored, but I just had to do it.
Been here since 2002 or so, but started over after the 04 heartbreak. Just blowing out some snark for fun because it's been so heavy around here lately. The primary season makes DU a battlefield, and we need our strength and some sense of communal funtime to bond a bit.

Excuse moi evvybody for the lame ass jokes - just seemed timely. Friday night!

4. It's wrong for him to try to use his guts to scare everybody
away from criticizing his little tin Jesus in the White House.

His guts haven't had a terribly great track record at predicting disaster.

7. Not for a Satanist, he had a book on his bookshelf which displayed
...the Tibetan Swastika on the spin/cover over his left shoulder during a press conference video. I think Chertoff needs to come forward and explain what that book is and why such a book is so prominently displayed in his personal collection of readings.

13. Depends.

If the balance between the evidence of an occurrence and the evidence of no occurence is close, e.g., between 60%-40 and 40%-60%, his position allows for a judgment call that, perhaps by definition, comes from his "gut".

In all other circumstances, no.

Edit: Clarification.
