This is reason 3642 why an American is grateful to live here. If you're ever in town, it's the Hot Box Café on Baldwin Street in Kensington Market, the last hippie enclave in the city. They don't sell herb, and they don't allow patrons to deal. You fire up at your own risk, but it's been in operation for a few years, the cops know what goes on, and no-one has ever been busted there. I also bought a couple of cool anti-Bush buttons on the way out. Viva Canuckistan. I love this city, though it's murder finding acceptable cornbread and grits here.

22. Sometimes I am, actually. In fact, as often as possible.

The delay is more a function of abandoning the computer for the day than the state I'm in. And, being safety conscious, I straightened out before I biked home. It was in the mid-seventies with minimal humidity and a ravishing breeze today. That kind of day at this time of year here is too rare not to take advantage of.

I still have a ton of bookmarks to sift through, and don't want to overlook anything great in haste. Also, I'm dying for a Snickers.;)
