Vitter's own words will haunt him on return to DC; Madam is "disgusted" at his gay marriage stance
...In a June 2006 Senate speech supporting a constitutional amendment against gay marriage, Vitter said it was "well overdue that we in the Senate focus on nurturing, upholding, preserving and protecting such a fundamental social institution as traditional marriage."

On Friday night, Deborah Jeane Palfrey, who ran the escort service and whose phone records led to Vitter's problems, said she was "disgusted at the hypocrisy" of the senator's comments about gay marriage.

"How dare someone dictate one thing and practice another, and in the process deny so many in this country the opportunity for happiness," said Palfrey. "In particular, I'm talking about dictating what constitutes a family. What constitutes a family is love, pure and simple."...

Vitter's allies say they will try to help him regain some of his luster.

4. So, was he into the whole "big baby" scene
with maybe a bib and pretending he couldn't talk and all that? I was unfortunate enough to see video one time of a big baby couple "in action" and that was just damn weird. I know we here at DU try to be respectful of everybody's grooves and all that, but it was just weird.

9. senator DeMint agreed to be quotes?
a huge MORAL failure?
Dude, what about legal? how about a LEGAL failure? And on what senate committees should a blackmail sublect be allowed to join and work? Which of our nation's secrets be open to a self-professed religious warrior, a arch-christian, the epitomy of famiy values, Mr Abstinence himself, just which national issues be put at risk simply because this guy had a moral failure?

Of course it is DeMint who speaks out, because in many ways, he and Vitter are pretty damn close. In behavior, in image, and in self-professed beliefs.

10. The best way to avert teen pregnancy, he wrote, is
"by teaching teenagers that saving sex until marriage and remaining faithful afterwards is the best choice for health and happiness."

In a June 2006 Senate speech supporting a constitutional amendment against gay marriage, Vitter said it was "well overdue that we in the Senate focus on nurturing, upholding, preserving and protecting such a fundamental social institution as traditional marriage."

Sincerely,

BABY HUEY

13. Vitter would do better being a monk in a monastery and taking
a vow of silent for the rest of life.

This recipe might take that repugnant look off his mug! If not, he may become known as brother Morehead.
